It is exactly 120 years since an inconspicuous vessel named Turbo sailed into Melbourne’s Hobson’s Bay carrying the first-ever bulk delivery of kerosene to Australia.
Since that June day in 1901, Shell has become a household name on these shores, establishing a range of oil refineries and domestic storage and distribution terminals, as well as a vast network of service stations.
